Businesses Find Real Value in On Hold Messaging [infographic]

That’s why we were happy when the On Hold Messaging Association performed a survey measuring the value and effectiveness of on hold marketing services like those we offer at On Hold Company.
We were pleased to see that the survey results validated what we already knew to be true – that on hold marketing is a proven revenue generator for businesses. And a service that offers so much more than just making money for your company.
In the survey, we learned that 85 percent of on hold clients say their messages add real value to their business; 24 percent say on hold messaging generated real revenue and 49% have used the service five years or longer.
Those are some of the findings in a recent survey by the On Hold Messaging Association on the value of on hold messaging for businesses.
Other findings include: the highest perceived effectiveness for buying on hold marketing is:
74% building image and professionalism
72% promoting sale of products and services
58% avoiding silence on hold
56% providing callers with entertainment or info
31% preventing caller hang ups
And the most common uses for on hold marketing were for providing information on products and services (88$) and giving callers the right impression (70%).
